During his tailor career, Mr. Ostin had to leave his wife and children behind in the countryside from 1987 to 1989 to work in a clothing factory in Port-Au-Prince. This move allowed him to support his wife and children financially. After two years of work in the factory, he moved back to the countryside to reunite with his family.
After he moved back to the countryside, he continued to work as a tailor farmer and got involved in social work.
